Arvada Days Community Vendor

The Arvada Festivals Commission is pleased to bring back to the community Arvada Days at Clear Creek Valley Park: 5900 Tennyson St. Arvada 80003!

We're turning back the clock to the late 1800's in celebration of the early days of Arvada! If you have goods, products, info, pictures, or types of food that fit this time frame, we'd love to have you!

The event is Saturday, September 22, 2018.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Applications must be submitted by Tuesday, September 4, 2018.
  • All Vendors are responsible for collecting and paying applicable taxes and for obtaining required licenses or permits. For more information, call the City of Arvada at 720-898-7100 or the Colorado Department of Revenue at 303-238-3278, or visit www.taxcolorado.com.
  • All Vendors must provide their own covered and weighted tent, and equipment (tables, chairs, etc.) Staking down tents will NOT be permitted! If your tent is not weighted down, you may be asked to leave.
  • Please list a day-of phone number so that you can be reached should any unforeseen circumstances develop.
  • You are responsible for any trash that you have. Do not leave it on site - trek it out with you.
  • All booths and displays must remain up until the end of the festival. If you take your tent down early, it may hinder your participation in further Festivals Commission events.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

  • We are looking for vendors who make their own products: Examples: Period type vendors – old fashioned candy makers, butter churners, crochet or quilted items, lotions, home made vintage art (that you might find in the late 1800's),candles, etc. If you question if you are what we're looking for, please contact Brenda at 720-898-7403 or [email protected].
  • You are welcomed (and highly encouraged) to dress in period appropriate costumes.
  • The City of Arvada and/or Arvada Festivals Commission reserve the right to assign vendor booth location in accordance with the best interests of the event.
  • Please have all your information submitted before the deadline!
  • Spaces are assigned on a first come, first served basis after review and acceptance.
  • Vendors will be assigned one 10’ X 10’ space.
  • Friday, there will be a farm to table dinner, barn dancing, and a bon fire to celebrate the early days of Arvada. The link will be posted to purchase tickets to Friday night. Vendors are not needed at this part of the festival.
  • There will be a chuck wagon breakfast starting at 9:00 am on Saturday. You are welcome to purchase tickets in advance and join us! Stay tuned for that link when it's available.
  • Load in will be from 7:30 am to 9:00 am. Saturday morning for the activity and vendor portion of the festival.
  • Please be completely event set up and event ready by 9:45 am.
  • The event starts at 10:00 am and goes until 4:00 pm.

Booth Space for this event is FREE! You will receive one 10'x10' booth space for being apart of this event.

I understand all REQUIREMENTS for this event:

All Vendors are responsible for collecting and paying applicable taxes and for obtaining required licenses or permits. I understand that the Arvada Festivals Commission will select vendors that best fit the goals of this event and reserves the right to limit vendors of the same industry. I understand that if I cancel 30 days prior to the event I will not get a refund. Vendors not accepted to the event will be fully refunded.

You are responsible for any trash that you have. Do not leave it on site - trek it out with you.

The city is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items at the festival, nor responsible to injuries that may occur.

I hereby shall indemnify and defend Arvada Festivals Commission/City of Arvada, their successors, agents, and assigns, harmless against all claims, losses, expenses, liabilities and damages, arising out of my participation in the event. I agree to abide by all rules set forth herein. Arvada Festivals Commission/City of Arvada assumes no responsibility for the safety of my equipment, my booth, my body, or my agents resulting from any cause including my negligence of the negligence of others.
