Food Vendor Application for WinterFest 2020!

The Arvada Festivals Commission is pleased to bring our 

3rd annual

Arvada WinterFest 

at McIlvoy Park - 58th Avenue and Upham Street!

February 29, 2020 from 11 AM - 3 PM

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Applications must be submitted by 2/12/2020.
  • All Vendors are responsible for collecting and paying applicable taxes and for obtaining required licenses or permits. For more information, call the City of Arvada at 720-898-7100 or the Colorado Department of Revenue at 303-238-3278, or visit www.taxcolorado.com.
  • All Vendors must provide their own covered and weighted tent, and equipment (tables, chairs, etc.) Staking down tents will NOT be permitted! If your tents are not weighted down, you may be asked to leave and no refund will be given.
  • All food vendors must lay down a tarp or cardboard to catch grease and waste.
  • All Food Vendors MUST be registered with the Jefferson County Health Department. For more information, call 303-271-5700 or visit www.jeffco.us/health.
  • All Food Vendors MUST use compostable or recyclable serving materials. For questions or more information on acceptable supplies contact the City’s Sustainability Coordinator at 720-898-7511. If you do not comply, we may ask you to leave and no refund given.
  • Please list a day-of phone number so that you can be reached should any unforeseen circumstances develop.
  • You are responsible for any trash that you have. Do not leave it on site - trek it out with you.
  • All booths and displays must remain up until the end of the festival. Early departure may hinder acceptance into our other events.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

  • The City of Arvada and/or Arvada Festivals Commission reserve the right to assign vendor booth location in accordance with the best interests of the event.
  • Please have all your information submitted before the deadline!
  • Spaces are assigned on a first come, first served basis after review and acceptance.Vendors will be assigned one, two, or three 10’ X 10’ spaces.
  • Cancellation 30 days prior to the event constitutes no refund. Those vendors not accepted will receive a full refund.

    I understand all REQUIREMENTS for this event:

    Applications must be submitted by date listed above.

    All Vendors are responsible for collecting and paying applicable taxes and for obtaining required licenses or permits. I understand that the Arvada Festivals Commission will select vendors that best fit the goals of this event and reserves the right to limit vendors of the same industry. I understand that if I cancel 30 days prior to the event I will not get a refund. Vendors not accepted to the event will be fully refunded.

    Cleaning fee: if excess grease or waste is left in assigned vendor spot, Arvada Festivals Commission and the City of Arvada will charge me a $100 cleaning fee.

    You are responsible for any trash that you have. Do not leave it on site - trek it out with you.

    The city is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items at the festival, nor responsible to injuries that may occur.

    I hereby shall indemnify and defend Arvada Festivals Commission/City of Arvada, their successors, agents, and assigns, harmless against all claims, losses, expenses, liabilities and damages, arising out of my participation in the event. I agree to abide by all rules set forth herein. Arvada Festivals Commission/City of Arvada assumes no responsibility for the safety of my equipment, my booth, my body, or my agents resulting from any cause including my negligence of the negligence of others.
